Where are these nuts coming from who flash their brights in your mirror after you pass them. I notice its mostly trucks from training companies like JB SWIFT ENGLAND SCHNIEDER ETC. Please either flash your lights off and on or do nothing. If you "could" pass another truck you would get it.

Probably passing Volvos.... they can't kill the lights easily. All the Shakers had the normal momentary off rocker.

Another whining poster about brights.
How many threads will we see on this?
If they bother you that much, how can you possibly meet a car on the road at night?rambler, trucker_101 and Marksteven Thank this. -
Its alot better than some of the new breeds that dont flash anything and leave you out there guessing! By the way i flash my brights during daylite driving.Wargames Thanks this. -
If you need someone to flash you over then you shouldn't be passing. If I cant pass you in a matter of seconds then I will stay behind you. If I pass you I know Im clear cause Im not sitting there next to you for 5 miles. HA HA HA

Personally, I am not a fan of brights either. I'd rather have the on/off flash. But, as large as this board is, posting here will not influence a large percentage of drivers across the nation. Like 99% of other annoyances in life, one must deal.
Roadmedic Thanks this. -
This poster is just another steering wheel holder with a complaint.
Professional drivers know how to deal with it. -
Its a courtesy thing. Oh sorry, never mind, whats courtesy today?Roadmedic Thanks this. -
True that. Trust me, I would have a full time job until retirement changing everything that bothered me in the world!! Especially if it were as easy as posting on a few forums! Different strokes for different folks..
