Is it Dpf?

Could be a million things. On some you can turn off cruise and hold down set lever and it will do self diagnostics. Count flashing lights and then see what code means. Used to get them 94 and 96.. Were actuator faults. But with no info there is no way to even make an intelligent guess.

A flashing check engine light is a typical indicator that the engine is about to shut down when they are programmed for idle shutdown. Does your light flash all the time, or just when it has been idling for a while?
-
Flashing means the fault is active.
-
What does a solid light mean then?
-
Well I kind of worded it wrong. Flashing means the fault is active and happening now a solid light means the light was flashing and stopped. When the key is turned off the light will go out. If the problem is happening it will never stop flashing.
