well i drive a freightshaker and the mirrors sometimes vibrate so bad it messes with the depth perception. i appreciate the flash so that i know the is enough room (safe traveling distance) for me to get back over. I do use my brights but only because i do not have a seperate head light switch and would have to turn off all my lights to kill the headlights.

Aahhhh, RickG so your one of those numbnutz that's flashes your highbeams at me!
Newsflash there Supertrucker, its illegal to flash your highbeams too!
Well RickG at least your honest in coming out and saying that you to drive like a newbie! Smarten up! Oh yeah and stay out of the hammer lane! -
We been doing that long before the headlight interrupt switch came to be..... -
I had to rant, I know wrong thread...
Heading south out of Camp Verde AZ on I-17 (big hill 5 miles long) at nite. I pulled to the left lane to pass a 30MPH truck. I was doing 60. I saw a supertruck doing about 90 coming up in the right lane. I was dead even with the slow truck, I was shocked to see supertrucker pass on the right shoulder!
He tore his right sidemarker and mudflap off with something he ran over because he was 2 feet off the pavement.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is this industry coming to?otherhalftw Thanks this. -

For one, it is just the courteous thing to do.
Two, although you may always know when you're clear, others may appreciate the added confirmation.
Three, just wait until winter when neither of you can see anything because snow and water and mud is being flung everywhere.
And lastly, not to insult your intelligence, just be sure you are going on/off, not flashing your brights.chico9696 Thanks this. -
