yes ,I do , slow on-off at night and in day time.

I started back when "common" courtesy was common.

can tell the new kids, by the attitude answers.

"NO NEVER"! "if you can't merge by yourself, go flip burgers!"

    that's not the point.

Never high beams. Occasionally interrupt in bad weather or if it’s a swift truck

Please do not use high beams. If you do, I will ignore you. If you have the courtesy to turn your lights off, I will reciprocate by flashing my markers. Please don’t blind me with your high beams.

Please do not distract us Swift drivers with flashing lights.
We panic and tend to do things you would not like.

All the false bravado in this thread does not match what I see on the highway every single night. I always give the all clear at night. Guys appreciate when you let 'em know some jacka55 4-wheeler with no headlights didnt slip up under their right wing

Blink in daylight, dim at night.

I usually only do it now in bad weather or in traffic, or if I go to pass and see emergency lights (or other emergency situations) on the side of the road to let the other driver know I’m slowing so they can get over.

Driving down US 24 in Ohio last week I had a truck that got over to let me in off the ramp.

Now when this happens, I drive slower than the truck to let them get back in front of me as a courtesy instead of passing them and letting others jam them up in the left lane.

Well this truck got a truck length in front of my, then turned on his right turn signal and sat there, I dropped back more and blinked at him to get over.

    One blink, nothing

Two blink blink blink .... nothing

Three blinky blink blink ... NOTHING.

SO I flashed my brights and driving lights at the same time, he finally got it ... clear to get over.

This is definitely not the first time it has happened, and won't be the last.
