No gonna be entry level but how long does It usually take a rookie to push more 2000 miles a week?
-
By no means am i saying I’m gonna jump in and push 2000 miles a week but i feel It could be done within the six months before they offer a pay raise
-
Well, technically it's less than that if you use up your 14ThomasTrucker21 Thanks this.
-
Which makes even more questionable to me
-
2000 miles per week is still quite a bit below average. If you’re doing 34 hour resets, you can go for 500-650 miles a day.. even running recaps you could average a bit over 400 miles a day.ThomasTrucker21 Thanks this.

How about hourly instead?
-
That’s what I figured. I was just using that number because it’s a little over what they would pay with the daily flat rate. It didn’t sound right when the recruiter was explaining It to me at all and makes It even worse when you break down by the hour
-
What do you mean exactly?
-
I wouldn’t think about driving OTR on a per hour basis. It’d be nice if we could just take our CPM and multiply by what you’re governed at... but we lose time out here every time we get loaded, unloaded, detour, fuel, etc.
