The best thing to do is find a guy that has been doing flatbed for years and have him teach ya. There are little tricks of the trade that are being lost now a days that any book if it exsisted woudn't show. The FMSCA rule book has some general securement guidelines, I highly suggest you read that. As far as any other just ask and someone else or myself will be able to help ya.

I'd be surprised if such a securement book is out there.
And I know this isnt what you were lookin for, but still a worthy read;

There is a securement book. It's actually not bad. Experience is your best teacher, however, there are quite a few drivers out there that apparantly need more experience. (Bad joke) The book is titled "Cargo Securement" Handbook for Drivers. Catchy title, huh. Distributed by J. J. Keller, sold in TA's and Petro's. Read the book, get with an experienced skateboarder and get your hands dirty.
