22 is too young for a lot of company's hiring criteria. It's based on their insurance. When you get some experience and a little age, a lot more doors will open for you. If Cypress needed drivers right now, they would have hired you. It sounds like they have enough guys with some experience applying they don't need to train rookies at the moment. You will find in this industry that hiring requirements are way more flexible when there is a demand. Trucking is in a slump right now, so they get to be picky.

My buddy was with Melton and he made good money. Ran with them a few years and then bought his own truck. He got on with them out of school did his time and here he is with his own truck. If I were you I'd go with Melton.
