    I'd go with either Knight or Roehl. Both will not make you team unless they recently changed their policies on this.

    Check out rewest.com. Small company and we need step deck drivers. Not sure about FL but worth checking.

    There are a lot of good companies with great training programs that would love to see you show up. Getting started is the hardest part. Stay at your first company for at least 1 year. If you can do that you will become extremely sought after by more of the higher paying carriers that don't hire students. Good luck.

    Can you do that? Just show up at the terminal and ask for a job as a new CDL graduate? That's what I'm thinking of doing after I graduate next week, drive up to Alabama and hit several of the the flatbed companies. Most won't hire me out of Miami. If they ask where I reside I'll say the black sedan in the parking lot, lol. Seriously, will that work, assuming I present myself as a competent, serious person?

    try TMC, I know a guy who just started as a trainee, they pay 500 a week during training and I believe 40cpm start pay
