    TMC is a great company to start with.They have top of the line training and equ.I am a driver for them and they are by far the best company I have ever drove for.

    I'm just out of school too and finding that not many companies will hire in florida. South of orlando no one seems to be hiring. Construction is at a stand still here. Melton takes drivers with 3 months or more.

    Florida is a bad state to be living in as a driver. Lots of stuff going in, but very little comes back out. It's a nightmare for trucking companies.

    You may want to consider Hunt Specialized Transport out of Omaha, NE. They will train you in load securement, and you will have the opportunity to do permitted (oversize) loads.

    I know a lot of Hunt drivers are working at Daily Express and Keen now, moving some impressive loads.
