I really wanted to work for TMC, and unfortunately, I was turned down. I liked how they said they would get you home pretty much every weekend, and if there was somewhere you wanted to be on the weekend, they would try to get you there. Are there any companies that hire out of NC that compare? I live near Charlotte. Keep in mind that I only just got my CDL license. Please help a disheartened rookie out.![]()

I'd take a look at Mcelroy truck lines. They hire out of North Carolina and guarantee home time every weekend. Check out RevKev's thread on Mcelroy doing a search, will be a good read about Mcelroy. Seems to be a pretty decent starter flatbed company.

I forgot to mention that I was charged with a misdemeanor coming up on 5 years ago. I've grown up and learned my lesson, but it seems that my stupidity is going to disqualify me from Mcelroy. Does anyone have any current information on BTC?

You might check into Boyd Bros. My bf is in that area fairly often with them.

Prime has drop yards in/near Charlotte and Raleigh. I got hired out of SC. You won't be home every weekend though.
