I gave up stepdeck for a van.
Making more without all the extra work.

Am not the only one, my carrier said many decks switching to van due to the high van rates.

Now nobody else left to do flatbed, so many flatbed loads.

All my loads this week over $5 a mile in Van, lowest revenue load $2700.
So yeah dont miss tarping lol

 

Tried to book a load , not big, $5000 for 250 miles, gave up trying to book, could not understand her English.

 

In the last two weeks, I've hauled eight loads, 34-out twice, and made $16,400. Hardly burned any diesel in the process. Been great lately.

Offered $12/mile to haul a concrete block 100 miles. Strap and go. Guy said I was being unreasonable. Say no to cheap freight.

 

This thread has convinced me to convert to OS/OD.
