Flatbed or Tanker

I’m currently a student and want to start getting my apps out there. I’ve been reading through this forum and have found tons of useful info on several companies and have narrowed my search considerably. The wealth of knowledge you guys have is incredible and I would like to take advantage of that knowledge. My number one choice is flatbed but tanker is a close second. I know there are lots of variables for each one, but generally speaking, would flatbed or tanker provide a more stable income? I’m open to all suggestions. Thanks for your time.
