Flatbed placards

The guys that I saw with them made them out of a piece of plywood cut to the shape of the placard and then they screwed that to a 2x4 that fit into the stake pocket.

 

I think you can just tape them on... Dot is very specific as to how, but I know there's a section on it.

 

What Jumbo said, that's how I made mine. You can tape them on the trailer, but you cannot tape them on a tarp.

 

i know this isnt what you are talking about. but this would work too. maybe remove them when not in use ?? just an idea

To pricy, mine are made of plywood and a 2x4, I use clear tape, DOT requires to be able to see the white line border

 

yeah i know a lot of them are homemade....

 

I just put some plywood on point on a 2x4 and attached an aluminum placard holder to them.

 

That looks like a good price to me. Looks better then taping something to the tarps.
