    When I buy, it will be a hdy. neck...The one I'm leasing through the company is mech. pain in the rear, even blocked up 3" when I drop to ld. or unld.

    Yeah, I politely declined. I barely know what the heck I'm doing 1/2 the time with this SD trailer. A heavy haul wagon would have me lost for a while. I'm sure I could get it all figured out, but I don't feel like trying to start all over again in a completely new market. Just not yet

    Many get into a certain type of bussiness or hauling and have no clue what to do..

    Plus I would have to buy all new 1/2" chains and binders and then find out where Martin parked at so I could get some "five finger" tarps off him. I barely toss the 4' drops I have now, and I do it reluctantly. No way do I feel like spending several hours tarping some giant thing-a-mabob.

    Got a call today, skidder from Ny tp PA, 385 miles 10'6 wide 22k, wanted a rate and when i could do it. I came back at $1,500.00 and a loader from Ny to ME legal 20k 520 miles i came back with $1,800.00 for that. The shipper told me he had a qoute from a trucking company from PA for $850.00 for the skidder and $985.00 for the loader and that i was way to high. I told him then don't call and waste my or your time then. I know the company that took the loads, will not name them but they are running dirt cheap, have lost a lot of lowbed loads to them, do not know how or why they do it.

    Small company, about 11 trucks. There out of Harrisburg PA area. Trucking is there 2nd operation. There main business is selling and doing stone and concrete work.
