That won't do any good....They bypass the Ports W/O TWIC cards.....They use other compliant companies to "Short-Haul" the "Cans" or Trans-Loads, out of the Ports to drop yards and take the loads from there to all points.......
You have to give those guys an "A" for effort......
"What Cabotage Laws?......."
"What's CARB Regs?"......."What's a TWIC Card?..."

I start laughing and say your about $900 to short for me to even think about it. Have a buddy call back later, load is gone moved it for $900.00 After the last few weeks i think my decision to hang it up at the end of the month was the right one.

Okay, here's the problem with so called back hauls. There is no such thing as a back haul. It takes X amount of dollars to operate a truck north, south, east,or west. If it takes X amount to go west ,then it takes the same amount to turn around and drive east. The truck doesn't know what's behind it. A mile is 5280 feet. To drive one mile ,one must make a profit on that mile regardless of a compass direction. Or one could use the mentality too often heard. " yea I'll haul it for less if I can get a lot of miles" This is the same type of business logic two fellows were using in their watermelon selling business. They were buying watermelons for fifty cents each and selling them for fifty cents each. After some time passed with no success, one partner says to the other "I have figured out the problem...we just absolutely have to have a bigger truck" And there is your back haul.Foxcover Thanks this.
