I am a believer in taking things one step at a time. Company driver first, then leased contractor, then get your own authority. Don't be in a rush...life is long and there is plenty of time to accomplish your goals.

That's kind of what i am working on, but the toll rates are killer on that stuff... Just to run 294 up to milwaukee and then back down takes $80SheepDog Thanks this.

I always go thru town, screw IL and their toll roads.
SheepDog Thanks this. -
Back on linehaul here, freight in the Chicagoland area and Milwaukee, up to Detroit and around MI paid great! I could see grossing 800-1000 a day being fairly easy. Delivering and picking up everyday would be for sure. I didnt mind hustling with tarps and everything all the time. Money was good!
Even shingles out of Chicago paid GREAT!SheepDog Thanks this. -
You own your truck, right milskired?

stay off 294,there are other ways around,I often run 41 got traffic lights like around 15-20 but takes about he same time 1 scale house that have only seen open twice, and it's a direct connect to 94.
