    I am leaving flatbed after 9+ years and going line hall. My first day is the 25th. Going to be a road driver.

    If you can handle the graveyard shift, great decision. I’m a night owl so I love it. Easy money, especially if you don’t have to work the dock.

    As long as I can get my rest, I do not care when I drive. I will not be working the dock according to what they told me. I got to speak to the terminal manager prior to applying.

    I’m sure you won’t. Did they say what run you’ll be doing, or will you be filling in for overflow every night? I don’t know much (read: anything) about YRC’s linehaul board or how they operate.

    I really know nothing at this point. One of the line haul drivers told my son in law that he thought they would start me on the noon run...but I will know more Tuesday. I will give a run down of my day to day.
