Flatbed Trailer no brake release and no air bag inflation

My Dad has been an O/O my whole 49 year life and owned 3 trucks at one time and I have never seen one of those dumb driver glad hands on any of his trucks either.

 

If he has universal on the truck they will hook up. Chances are good he does.

 

I’ll repeat myself, go out and try to switch them. Most people don’t even realize there’s a difference. I wanna see a picture of your gladhands switched. If they’re red and blue.

 

Yes that’s correct they will, but I can’t say I’ve ever seen universals from the factory.

 

Do you make a habit of looking at all glad hands?

 

I don’t think I have either from the oem

 

The thing I find funny is the OP asked a legitimate question about his trailer that he’s been pulling for a long time and people assume he crossed his airlines crossed.

I find it funny that he fixed the problem several days ago and people are still asking about air lines.

 

I’m guessing we won’t see pictures of the gladhands crossed.
