Nope, sorry, I call BS. NOBODY looks good in flipflops. Nor should anybody over the age of eight be wearing flipflops in public.

Hey I wear flip flops in my free time, but only that is as close to barefoot as I can get without being asked to leave such fine dining establishments as Subway, but hey, I'm built for comfort, not speed.

I started flatbed (trucking period actually) with swift and they paid $23 to tarp regardless of what it was and you will tarp often. There are companies that pay less than that too.

It use to be a decent program but I don't know how it has "evolved". IMO, if you're going to drag a skateboard, go with a smaller company.

Not entirely true. On an annual in my home-state I can run 12-feet wide at night on green roads. I've been tall, wide, had overhang, and been heavy at night before. It depends on where you're at as far as running oversize during the night hours. We can do it here, and during summer a lot of paving machines are moving from site to site.

Well, of course there are exceptions to the rule. Texas, for example if you're under 10' wide, WI with outrigger lights and and all other warning devices, I'm sure there are others, I haven't been at it all that long, and don't claim to have a working knowledge of every state, but generally speaking its daylightish to darkish in most cases with general OD freight.

I'd rather do van over flat any day. Its just the pay isn't there for vans as much as it use to be if your o.o
