Flatbed with four axles?

    I notice alot of flatbeds with 3 and 4 axles on them in Ohio. The 3rd and 4th axles are almost always up. Are the extra axles to be legal in Michigan during thaw season? Just something I noticed. Hopefully one of you guys can clue me in.

    Yep for Michigan, (year round except for certain routes). Also legal to use the lifts in ohio if you choose to add them to your permit.

    Can also use them in KY with a permit.
