Wow, nice defensive attitude right off the bat.
Rookie or not, this has been beaten to death in here on a near weekly basis. So maybe using the search function will aid you in helping yourself? Weird I know....
Martinchachar, littleduck, Sleepy68 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Howard Transportation
Cypress Truck Lines
Jordan Carriers
Keim TS
Falcon Transport
Boyd Brothers
TMC
Western Express
PGT Trucking
Watkins & Shepard (flatbed division)
Decker Truck Line
Howard Transportation seems real good. It's a smaller 150 truck company owned by Howard Industries.
They have 3 terminals and one is in Kenly, NC.littleduck Thanks this. -

Also Melton and swift for a few more. I started with a local steel hauling company, so look into those.

A GOOD flatbed Co?
Well,What I Consider Good is what others on here may consider TOO Good.
Anyway.....A Good flatbed co to work for has 2 things to Notice with youtr visual eye...
1.Look at the trailer,If it has stake pockets with 2' stakes sticking up, and its a short trailer...Thats a GOOD flatbed co to drive for
A Bad Flatbed Co usually has NEW 53' Trailers...huge tarps and Newer tractors
Some of you may get it right away.....littleduck Thanks this. -
Interesting perspective......not right or wrong but interesting. -
My bf drives for Boyd Bros and doesn't regret his decision to go with them at all. Home most weeks if he wants it (very seldom not home on weekend if he wants to be).
littleduck Thanks this. -

Dude, you just have to jump in there and go with whatever happens. It's not about trying to find the perfect job and living happily ever after. Get on board with a company, get some seat time and then go from there. good luck.
Sleepy68 Thanks this.
