I've been waiting until after the holidays to make the switch. As far as what a "newbie" should start with depends on that persons preferences when it comes to hometime, pay etc.

Good Evening, Jay here.....I have been approved for Maverick Glass or FB.....leaning towards glass. I am out of Clarksville, TN.....retire from the Army in a few months would be going to orientiation the end of March....start my CDL class next week for 8wks....jeff18 Thanks this.

How long do you have to be in flatbed before switching to glass? Do you have to go to a whole nother orientation?

I was flatbed for 5 years and went to North Little Rock for 4 days of glass training. Because I'm an established driver at Maverick there was no need to go through the entire process again. -
i got app with maverick as goin thru there student cdl sponsorship program thru arkansas state univ newport ar campus i goin in the temp controlled division cant find anyone to chat with who is in the temp controlled div
