Still loving the glass division of Maverick. With the up coming pay raise and performance pay 2018 should be a really good year.

I hauled glass for Maverick for about 4 years, and I am ready to run back. Hell, I'd even be happy to see those soandso's at Carlisle again. I never should have left.
-
What areas does glass tend to stay in? I know it's otr but are there any areas you frequent?
-
Not really. There are glass manufacturing facilities in Oregon, California, Texas, Kansas, Iowa, New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Illinois, Ohio, and Michigan, though I may be forgetting one or two. It really depends on where you live and how long you plan to stay out.
jhurle9403 Thanks this. -
Gotcha. Sounds like a good variety at least. There's nowhere I'm really unwilling to go, just don't want to be in places like Chicago & NYC constantly.
-
For me personally I stay out 4 weeks at a time. This opens up more opportunities for lengthy runs that will put more money in my pockets.

Tarping a coil with a glass tarp is definitely a challenge.

Good job buddy! What size are those glass tarps? Don't you guys carry any steel tarps?

Made a move from over the road to a dedicated gig hauling glass for Vitro Glass. Primarily I will be loading out of Wichita Falls, Texas and Carlisle, PA. All loads will still cover the lower 48 and Canada.
