I have a 39’ end dump. Currently have a manual side roll tarp. I was contemplating getting an electric one and got me wondering. Is a front to back flip tarp any worse or any better? Do the flip styles still utilize tarp bows? Does one keep the trailer dryer than the other? Who is the best electric tarp company and cost?

If you need to keep the load dry the flip tarps, I have seen probably would not be sufficient .

El cargo is about the best tarp system you can get and keeps the trailer 100% dry

You can get a front to back sliding tarp with swing away bows. There was a place in IN I used to deliver to that hauled droids and that's what they used. Driver said loads stayed dry and they still worked in the winter.
