If you are interested in car hauling -- with only 18 months of driving experience so far, & also given your location in south FL -- the following is probably as good a start as any other:
Proficient Auto Transport -- need to get a TWIC card -- hires/trains beginner car haulers
and
Proficient Auto Transport -- locations
-- LNightWind Thanks this. -
Always see Florida based car haulers advertising on Craigslist. Find a small enough carrier and maybe they still use paper logs...and expect you to run 1099.
Far better to find a company paying well enough that you don't have to run illegally. -
I have gliders(repowered) and pay is around 2k weekly ... But unfortunately its 1099 if i hire
Chinatown Thanks this. -
Can you message me, it won't let me message you, says I am too new.

Not sure if you’re still looking but fellow Highlands native here, Bernie Little has a local gig if you’re over 23. Parker Gas Co. in Sebring has a tanker position open. As far as otr and regional for our area, all i could when I was applying is Knight and Heartland Express/Millis Transfer.

They aren't illegal lots of them running on the road. They just restricted the number of gliders that companies like Fitzgerald can build. I can take any truck and put any pre 2000 serial numbered engine in it and not run an ELD and run paper logsChinatown Thanks this.
