Yep, Been done for decades now. The Officers in TN started doing that long ago when they realized advantages.

I wonder where the police stole that truck from?
Probably one of their classic civil forfeitures.
Up here in Alaska the cops always go after moose hunters that have nice airboats for little crimes or hunting mistakes, first thing they do is seize their boat and all their equipment. Within a couple weeks the crooks I mean the cops got a state trooper sticker on the side of it patrolling with it.
    What a bunch of BS.
Got to love those civil forfeiture laws.
I guess they were made for drug dealers back in the 80s nowadays the cops use it to steal all types of assets and cash.

Thankfully, the Supreme Court is starting to side with we the people.
Supreme Court Limits Police Powers to Seize Private Property

It takes a big rig to catch a big rig? Wtf a 90’s cavalier can catch a big rig.

I don’t see the advantage of them rolling around in a rig to stop a rig.

Probably a target of opportunity... But the height advantage a truck has makes it hella easier to spot a texter going down the road.

Not for nothing, but if I saw a semi-truck come behind me and start flashing red and blue lights, I would not be stopping until some legit cruisers came behind him.

Its like a unmarked cruiser. Drivers do stupid things when they think no cops are around. I think they need to double or triple the amount of unmarked cops. Same with big rig cops. They need to weed out the dumb ones.
