I am moving to the Florida area and heard there were some companies that lease O/O's to pull doubles on the turnpike. Anyone know who they are? I have tried looking online and can't find anything that might help me.

Ive seen Pepsi, JB Hunt and the LTL Freight companies hauling double 48s on the turnpike. Yellow/Roadway and Southeastern Freight I think. JB was that last mile service.. Oh and UPS too

I've never seen a leased o/o pulling them personally and I run the pike quite a bit.
Maybe a FedEx contractor, but you'd have to be way up on the bid board to get something like that, and if your not a team running 48, you're not leasing on in FL to get the points or whatever they call them to do it. -
Hostess used to have contractors pulling turnpike doubles, but of course they are gone. There is a water company, but I hardly ever see contractors pulling them. I think that all the companies pulling them werte mentioned.
Just wondering, why would you want too? I have always wanted to try a B-Double, just never had the chabce. Pulled triple pups several years back, I dont think I will do that again.
Well, Good luck and safe miles.
