Every driving school has to be certified by the state. If enough complain to the state of Texas then the state has the right to pull their certification along with the certification of every instructor there.
Call the Texas Rehabilitation Commission and get the number of who you need to call to report it. Get everyone of your class mates to do the same thing if you can.
I have always told my students to remember that they are the customer. They are paying for this training and if the school is doing a half assed job, turn them in.
If a school is going to rip people off, at least make them work for it.

And most schools start out good in many ways. It is when they get some money under their belt and a few years behind them they turn bad. Cowtown Truck Driving School was a good school in the beginning. It is not how they start that kills them it is how they end. By the time it was over, the cost was $9000 and no one was paying back the Student Loans. That put the Loan company out of business and just about all the schools were using the Student Finance Corporation.
Now that things are slow, I imagine the cost is pretty cheap and schools are desperate enough for business that they do a decent job. Let trucking companies start needing drivers and the big money assembly line will start up again.
But, you can't fail if you have your mind made up to drive a truck and you could have taught yourself if you had a truck. How many of your classmates do you suppose are still out there? -

Through the Texas Work Force Commission I was granted WIA funding and will be attending ATDS in Elm Mott Tx just outside of Waco. ATDS is PTDI certified, from my research I found they own five acres of land for all types of driving situations. My starting date is at the end of the month

Looks like Fluid lost their contract at Brookhaven. They are not worth the wait. I started at International last weekend. So far so good, but all we did was book work

So there are always some exceptions to the norm!
