The Visa ban is limited only to USA. I stopped at Edmonton, AB and after paying my bill made a comment that no signs were up about visa not being taken. They told me, they gladly take it and were totally surprised at the USA ban.

US Xpress uses them again... we boycotted them for a couple months this year because they stopped offering us a discount... then we went back to using them in march... at least i did (dedicated driver can fuel anywhere we want as long as its one of the 5 national chains)

any way i have to say that sucks cause i don't carry cash just my visa check card and transfunds card (fuel card), and i liked them because most locations have lots of parking and they are cleaner than TA's and good food

Flyin J is Flyin Joke. The worst frequent fueler program ever seen.

It doesn't seem very clear, are they not accepting visa for fuel only? Or for anything? like store purchases and what not.

Pretty soon they will be so worried about counterfieting that they will probaly refuse cash next.

They will also probaly go to only thier card for any purchases.

I will not use the flying j much if I can help it I would rather like to help the mom and pop type truck stops they deserve the biz more.

The mom and pop probaly started the truck stop with their life savings and they should get more biz than the big chains.

I would also like to use the smaller chain type truckstops they seem to be more personal that the bigger ones.

I read in this months landline that Flying J they supposely still accept visa for in store purchaces.

I do not know for sure on this it is just what the magazine said.

The national association of convience stores says retailers like Flying J can loose approximately 2.75 % on every gallon because of such fees.

Flying J is trying to maintain it's reputstion for having inexpensive fuel.

I think that the J made more people mad than anything else how can you sell cheap fuel if no one wants to buy it at your truck stop because they will not accept visa at the pump.
