The people in Quebec are NOT French, they just think they are.:biggrin_25522:

I speak English, does that make me English? If so, my grandparents would be rolling in their graves.LOL:biggrin_2559:

All in all, I don't mind Quebec much. You do have to adapt to things a bit. You just have to remember, YOU are the foreigner, do as the Romans, eh?:biggrin_255:

You said it, Canada is Canada and there is Quebec. Some Quebec people think they should be their own country.

I'm Canadian and I feel like a foreigner when I drive in Quebec.

Yeah, the P.Q. is a bit different. But really, all the times I've been there, more than I can remember, I've truly not had a problem. I can understand the road signs, [even the truck wash signs LOL]. I almost hate to admit it. One of the last times I was in Quebec, I back tracked to Landsdowne to come back to the U.S. I caught myself translating the English signs into French once I got back into N.Y.

Another thing I must admit, there are a number of places in the U.S. that even I feel like a foreigner. Oh dopey me, I can't believe I typed that!!:biggrin_2559:
And it's not because of illegal aliens.LOL:biggrin_25523:

The eye candy in Quebec is worth it, no matter what else you can say about that place. Although the last time I was there, I was concerned about different language, different culture, different highways, etc. Little did I know the big problem there is the cheese.

    I like the eye candy.

I've been to other restaurants in quebec. They were fine.

This place is just a ####### hell hole. They need to burn that dump down or hire some people that are smarter than a rock.

Sounds like the "Broadway" Flyin' Hooks in the N.W. Gawd, what dumps, especially that one in Federal Way, Wa.

Quebec's always been that way. It got real bad after De Gaulle told them during a visit in the 60's that they should revolt - why? Because they're French! But not French enough for France to help them out...

    They've been po'd ever since.
