Flying J/Pilot showers vs Loves, quality comparison?

    Isn't it obvious why they are/were always brown?...

    You'd have a much shorter list of places with downright unacceptable shower rooms. On this front, we do have it pretty good out here. Whenever I start getting bent out of shape over something minor, sure maybe the water temp isn't just perfect, or maybe the heat is too high or too low, maybe there is a wait, whatever the case may be, it's humbling to think how other places in the world must live. Life is pretty good here if these are our "problems."

    Not sure how to answer this because the quality isn’t tied to the company, it comes down to the overall management of the facility which is going to differ by location I’ve seen some good loves, and some ####ed up ones, I’ve also seen good flying j’s and some ####ed up ones.

    In 20+ years of driving I've never taken a truck stop shower where the water was too hot.

    OTOH, I have taken a few that weren't hot enough, if they were hot at all. Unfortunately, some of those have been recent.
