I can see both arguments. I won't say one is right or wrong. There is a definite parking shortage out here. But it is private property so they have the right to ask anyone to leave.

The tail lights of the truck on the far right belong to a truck that just rear ended the truck parked in a no parking spot.

38 years and you don't know how to trip plan yet??
I'm tired of "drivers" like you parking along curbs and in the driveway because you can't back in a parking spot or the "I don't want a rookie to take my hood off" bs.
I hope the next time you wake up to a tow truck lifting your truck.

Walton KY has two scale houses with GIANT overnight parking areas.

I would strongly agree if there was not a parking shortage out here and the driver's were only doing it because of being lazy.

like TRUCKERLIFE74 says,I avoid J's and Pilots like the plague. always small and crowded as every rookie starts using them and never goes elsewhere.
get the little pocket truck stop guide, has lots of other places to stop.
been out here over 30 yrs and yes parking is getting scarce.

I would say 75% of drivers do it out of sheer laziness. You see them all the time middle of the day pull in park along the curb on a corner or next to the scales. Blocking entrance and exit ways while empty spots abound. Then late at night if your trying to leave and trucks are stacked up everywhere making it near impossible to simply exit and be on your way. And how would they diffentiate between lazy drivers and drivers that just need a place to park cause they are out of hours on Elog?
