That's their problem, just like finding a parking space. I ran nights when I was a company driver. It's not that they can't, they just won't.

Well I'm no veteran in trucking but I been told by other veterans truckers is pre plan your route and always plan ahead. Remember there's no excuse for not planning your route.

Always have a backup plan for your backup plan. Trucks circling the lot here in Ontario at the petro trying to park here there and everywhere. It's a holiday weekend it doesn't take much to figure out probably gonna be no parking when you roll in at 5-6pm. Yet here they are all circling the lot looking astonished that's the parking is full.

I think the reason its more prevalent at Flying J is because that is where the mega's fuel for the most part. Thus the newer drivers are drawn like a moth to a light.

I usually park a mile. In a far corner where no one parks. If i have to walk or march a little so be it.
