That's their problem, just like finding a parking space. I ran nights when I was a company driver. It's not that they can't, they just won't.

    tscottme and Bigrayon Thank this.

Well I'm no veteran in trucking but I been told by other veterans truckers is pre plan your route and always plan ahead. Remember there's no excuse for not planning your route.

Exactly and there is always time to plan your route. Most the time I planned my routes while at the shipper sitting in the dock waiting to get loaded.

Always have a backup plan for your backup plan. Trucks circling the lot here in Ontario at the petro trying to park here there and everywhere. It's a holiday weekend it doesn't take much to figure out probably gonna be no parking when you roll in at 5-6pm. Yet here they are all circling the lot looking astonished that's the parking is full.

    Lepton1 and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.

I think the reason its more prevalent at Flying J is because that is where the mega's fuel for the most part. Thus the newer drivers are drawn like a moth to a light.

    That's disgusting.

I usually park a mile. In a far corner where no one parks. If i have to walk or march a little so be it.

Even today people give me a hard time when I park way over here and quietly go about my errands inside the store.

Maybe those who give you hard time are the ones willing to talk when really you not remotely interested . Go figure they might see you as antisocial.
