    I have been opposed to E-Logs form the early onset.
    I'm curious. What ELOGS did he have?
    Don't get me wrong here, I'm Opposed to the darn things.
    But, in our trucks we run PeopleNet and I've never had a problem with it interfacing with the truck. And we run Volvos also.

    The DOT isn't happy about it either.
    I talked to a DOT Official at the Canada Port of Entry. And he said this just made his job from Bad to Worse. He's forced to impose the penalties as per by the new Mandate. SMH!!

    They had Big Road, and got something else, now running Big Road again.

    The ELD used a tablet or phone as interface, but it was the device itself.

    What I think happens is the computers in the truck detect something amiss and shut it down as a failsafe.

    I'll find out more.

    @easytopleez33 , it's called One 20.

    Another truck quit, and they are pushbutton Ishift, it was blowing a fuse, and causing the system to fail.

    The company as been given a waiver of the ELD requirement for 30 days so they can come up with a better system.
