FMCSA Safety Score questions

If you’re trying to hire on at a new place they can pull your PSP and see violations you’ve had during inspections but there are no point values assigned to them for the driver.

 

The way it should be is if you get a questionable violation on an inspection a repair shop should be able to remove that violation off the FMCSA

 

Just go to the source. Appendix A has the severity weights (What many call points). Notice that nowhere in the methodology does it state drivers get points or a score. In fact the whole point and score thing for both carriers and drivers has been made up of myth and rumor perpetuated by carriers and the misinformed.
