the Government has been literally writing public school text for
    the last 35 yrs.

Why are folks surprised at the state of the US populous?

Ok first off, everyone must have missed this camera is attached to a REAR view mirror!
How many class 8 trucks have rear view mirrors? Granted they would have to mount it some where else.

Second off. PRIVACY! Unless this camera has a off switch? I think this really does constitute an invasion of privacy. Whats to keep the yuts that is viewing what ever from turning it on whle the screens are closed?

The picture implies the wrong thing. If it is only looking at the drivers seat. Hey I am all for it. The only thing whomever will see otherwise is me doing my job. Checking the mirrors every 10-15 seconds. Leaning waaay forward to try and look into the right side west coast mirror to see if some kind soul is trying to speed in on a blind spot from an on ramp. Doing paperwork. 3 point mount /dismount. Doing it all by the book. Not that hard to get in the habit of doing it like we should.

Not that hard to find a company that doesn't treat me like a child who can't do it right so they have to watch me at all times either.

Vaseline on the lenses should take care of that problem! Wipe it off before you hit the yard and that'll make them crazy trying to figure out why their high dollar toy doesn't work! Put the Vaseline on when it's completely dark and the engine is off and do the same when you take it off! Just clean the lense really well so they don't figure it out!

That's just a sample picture. Could be mounted on the dash. Would it be live 24/7? Only the shadow knows. Privacy? That's so 18th century! The future has arrived and it's not what it used to be. And remember how "change" was the last campaign theme? Just "change," but nothing about what the "changes" would be, right?

But I,m a perfect driver, right BMI, right size neck, all endorsements on CDL, speak spanish, happy to work for nothing, vote a straight democrat ticket especialy for candidates that promise to put me out of a job! I know that this is for my own good, like allowing mexican trucks and gang members,uh drivers here in US.

GOOD NEWS! Although driver's aren't allowed to sleep on the job, but have to live in the unairconditioned truck 24/7.
The $35/hr government bureauocrat can sit at his cubicle with unlimited internet for 8 hour shifts. (plus lunch/smoke & coffee breaks)

Even if these cam's were live 90% of the time the minders are probably playing Starcraft or watching porn.

Probably only come up AFTER you hit something. (kinda like red light cams don't stop DUI's)
