I worked in and around trucks since I was 14, never drove one though (well officially at least). I worked in a beer distributors warehouse in high school and college, at a rental joint (never drove anything bigger than a Bobcat or Box truck), and now I work at a trucking company again. No worries admins, I'm not here to spam your forums with any info on that.
I am here to learn more about the industry as a whole, in all aspects. Surprisingly there's not a lot of info out there on drivers, or the industry as a whole. When I started working here I thought to myself "dang, does anyone really know anything about anything?"
I work in safety and recruiting, so I have a load to deal with every day (CSA... hooray? No, not really.)
I am interested basically in learning more about the drivers opinion. Ive been out on loads with one of our guys before, as strong and driven as I am... aint no way in hell I could work from midnight to 7pm like he does. Let alone do his job. Though I gotta say, every time I see his truck I think about buying one myself. Ive been thinking about working with him part time on weekends to bring in a little extra cash for myself, but who knows.

Thanks boss, is there a way to change these smilies... or is it like my Mustang GT horn?
If you're gonna use it, you're gonna feel lame? -
There is an option of 'More Smiley's' available at the bottom of that drop down that will bring up a whole bunch of different stuff!

John, welcome aboard. If your wanting to ask questions of our drivers, best place to start is in the "Experienced Driver" section. You'll get a lot of great input in that section.
There's plenty of threads on the CSA thing. So read away. -
Welcome. As BHW stated there are tons of opinions and such already here for the reading..with more coming in daily.
