Fog Season Approaching

    You make an excellent point. I have yellow tinted glasses that are really helpful in fog or night driving with a lot of headlights or other bright lights.

    Another thing that is really helpful is having either goggles or glasses with side shields. If you drive all day after a blizzard, with bright sun reflecting off snow, you will still have a lot of high intensity light coming in from the sides of your glasses. Having side shields will block out that light.

    What will be REALLY beneficial is HUD Literally heads up display and IR cameras to feed it in real time. Being able to see deer by heat signature in the road deep in the fog beyond what you need to stop will pay for the system in full in prevented damage.

    I just use my night vision goggles, army grade of course, and slow my cruise to 85 mph when it's foggy.
