Folks, I am at a loss....

Private schools suck it is all about the money.They don't teach you much.I was in one and didn't learn crap no time on the road and .but did get my cdl permit.so now going to vo tech school in sept,to finish up.and find a driving job.I learned some backing but not the right ones so I hear.so please check the school out before you go to one.I was not as smart as I am now so I ask lots of question now and feel like 4995 to 8000 for a three week school is a total ripoff to all of us.And I was just in one of these school's and had 3 more want me to come there and give them another 6000 and at one and 8000 for the other .roadmaster was wanting close to 8500 and tdi/cdi wants 6000 these are schools in Tennessee. also united trucking is a very bad school they have to many students and you get 30 mins on the road a day because they have 5 or more in the truck at a time. please thing long and hard before going to a private school and if you can make 7 weeks fo to a vo tech .have a great night please let me know what you thing of my post

 

These questions have been asked numerous times, but typically by someone who already made up their mind and wasted money getting a CDL they can't use.

The best thing you can do for yourself is to call company recruiters and see if you're hireable, FIRST. As in do this BEFORE getting a CDL. Otherwise you'll end up in the "Why didn't my school tell me this?" bandwagon. Find out if your hireable, then start looking at how you're going to get a CDL.
