I will never try to cheat my log.. Big bucks and time comes with that. What I was saying is that; say your out of hours and you want to go eat. Mickey D's is only one mile up. Electric logs will show that you drove pass your what, fourteen hours (legal). Whereas your paper will not.
I love that pic....
My Post update is at the bottom.

Last day of orientation yay!!.. Today Swift made sure we understood the word safety to a T. There was this one video that almost had grown men in the class in tears. It showed actual rig collions and the corpse it left due to the crash. One video even showed actual footage of a trainee taking a 40mph curve at 60mph. Yew, the way that rig tipped over and flew off the gravity that was on the other side of the mountain was a scary thing to see (even on video). I guess they don't mean to scare us straight, but have us thinking straight. Safe by choice not by chance, we heard that a million times in two days.
Well class was over at four and l got my drivers code (im in). I was introduce to my mentor Robert (he's pretty cool (so far). We just picked up a load in CA, taking out to New Mex. I have yet to drive, been in the berth most of the time watching the road. I'm just ready to drive..lol.but l do want to learn all l can. My mentor is an owner op, maybe that's why l haven't driver yet. He's like (not grinding my freightliner). I also gout my Com-data card today. Is really alot to learn in this field, today in the driver lounge l was informed on what l hear is called "Lot lizards". I will just end it like that and let others explain..lol.
We are now arriving at the main terminal in Phoenix Az for the night. So I gotta say so far, so good. -
thanks for the chuckles...loves2shift
I like your enthusiasm,
just a tip
all that glitters ISN'T gold.
best of luck -
Sounds like its still going well. I have to decide now if I am willing to try early childhood which is Pre-K and try to stick out this mess in the district or Trucking it is.

Yea all is well....
So pretty much it just drop, drive, hook. In New Mexico at Swift terminal awaiting the next load. I don't really haver to much to post being that it's just regular truck work. So what l will do is just update after my mentor training is over, but l would love to keep this thread hoping -
Haha well keep us posted. This is just a regular trucker forum so I am sure people dont mind hearing about trucking.

Funny, all of them I've driven did. In addition to splitting each gear with the side switch rather than having the hi-lo lever on the front of the knob.
But, I'm not going to argue with you about it. It isn't worth it. -
