No need. Why do people want that and it's usually the UPS freight guys? I can post a check from parcel to make the ups freight ones look sad...... it's not a competition.

Sorry to the op and everyone else in this thread. I did not mean to turn this into a dick measuring contest but I'm kinda getting sick of the second rate company people to wear a brown uniform acting like they can best everyone. Guess what guys....ya can't. I am a retired feeder driver, I wouldn't get out of bed thinking about getting in a brown truck for the low wage they are paying you. That's not to say it's not a decent job and a great fit for some but I guess when you never had the best what you have seems good.

There is actually more people than you think that do it, I wasn't the only one. I drive for coca cola now. If you are in a bonus center you can make way more in a package car vs a feeder. Feeder you are getting straight hours/or miles with no way to beat the clock. In a package car you can know out a 13 daily working 10 hours. Pretty sweet gig but just like food service or beverage there is a ton of money to be made but you gotta work for it. Staring at a windshield is too boring for me and the money just inst there.

You ain't got nothing to prove to anyone, we all know you McLane guys do very well and also that you earn every ####ing penny of it. You guys are probably the hardest working guys out there driving a truck!

I’m in FS now. I’m lucky because I only have (1) customer to deliver to. I wouldn’t want to start at 10-11pm even though I know it’s better money. I have a friend who works there and it’s definitely good $$$

When I worked at Mclane I liked the night shift. Pretty much it’s the only way they can deliver to their customers and early mornings a 48 ft trailer is sometimes impossible when customers are there. Also you don’t deal with people at most of the stops. Towards the end of the route you deal with minimal people that come in the mornings. Less BS at night and you don’t get ordered around to separate their crap. When I did US Foods you had to deal with a lot of crap from managers and workers at the restaurants. Then deal with people in parking lots. Rather do nights then the early morning shifts for food service.
