Florida seems like it would be awful for foodservice. Hot and humid year-round.

I enjoyed doing it in the Midwest in the winter, except for the handful of times it snowed and they didn’t cancel us.

This week I grossed $1,650 working on the Aldi account. Easy money 5 day work week as well weekends off. Load trailer electric pallet jack 22/26 pallets unload and them at the store put them where they belong freezer/chiller/dry area and bring back backhual and unload that as well, dock parking as well no ramps or lift gates.

That doesn’t really fall under foodservice delivery though. I think most would agree that dedicated/private fleet grocery store delivery is the better job. It’s just harder to get into since grocery DCs are a lot more spread out and it’s not as likely that a driver will live near one.

100% not foodservice. If you aren't humping a two wheeler with product double stacked up or down rickety, greasy stairs at least once after seeing your trailer 100% cubed out when opening the door at your first stop and having to collect a check... it's unlikely to be foodservice.

I guess you’re right lol can’t complain when the job easy and you gross over 1,500 + easiest job ever. Especially when your night lasts close to 9hrs and you call it a day.

I’ve looked into McLane and Sysco once upon a time McLane didn’t want to hire me at 3 months OTR experience and Sysco offered me a interview but restaurants were closing their doors when the virus shut everything down. Definitely would have looked into Sysco if this virus never messed things up, I’m good friends with a manager in the Sysco warehouse I put his name down as a reference I got a call once I hit the 1 year of experience.

Reinhart. Worked nine days last pay period. Eight days were my routes and one day I worked as a helper since we’re short on help. Plus one day of holiday pay.
