I would like to know what the experienced drivers consider good money as a company driver. I think I make pretty good money but maybe I'm wrong.

The closest Werner terminal from you is Allentown, PA which is 180 miles from you. The closest US Xpress facility is in Shippensburg, PA which is 300 miles away. Did you call and ask what the pay is for both? I know USX is better if you want to team drive.

That is not true. I got my first driving job 2 months ago, I am a local driver and I make $18 an hr plus time and a half after 40. Have already made over $8000 in 2 months and its the "slow season". Im on pace to make $50,000 my first year. So dont believe all this bs that people will tell you will not make money your first year and that you have to be a slave laboror for a mega carrier OTR.

Some consider good money as $28K - $30K per year and some consider good money as $50K - $65K per year. Just depends on the standard of living you are comfortable with.

I dont want to give up too much info and give away my identity because I dont know who is reading this forum. But I will say that I work for a paint company, I deliver paint. My advice is to look beyond traditional trucking companies. A lot of businesses that have their own truckers pay better and treat employes better.

I am a rookie and I am witb Werner. I consistently make between $1200 -$1600 a week.. I am on a dedicated account and home every weekend..

I as a new driver like werner, I worked for a small family owned company before coming to werner, werner has the resourses that new drivers need.. like 24 hour 7 days week 365 days a year supoort.. the small company I was with did not.. they were a good company for experienced drivers, but not so much for a new driver..

Personally, for me as a driver with less than a year experience I feel making $1200 or more a week, with good afforadable health, dental and vision benefits and around tbe clock support is a good thing...

With werner, my paychecks have been accurate and on time everytime, they keep me rolling.. right now I am delayed at a shippers, but, I will get compensated for it.. I believe it will be $30 ... not bad for two hours sitting in my truck suring the truckers report..

The bad thing about werner is having to put up with flack from other drivers... but it is more so here on tne web then ojt on the road...

A lot of people including me will find this very hard to believe. Especially after all the stories on here from rookies at Werner making $300-$400 a week.
