Ok kids im horrible with exacts y I gave out general info. The pa part out to island is exact--now to get out the next exit past(west)278 on 495 is Van Dam st---off ramp to lite go right--t's into Queens blvd(basically)left on blvd--follow to 59th st bridge LOWER ROADWAY(aka-Queensboro bridge)on Manhattan side if bridge there r 3 left turn lanes--You have to make 3 lefts to go back under bridge and go back north toward the Bronx----NOTE CAUTION--WHEN U MAKE 2d LEFT ALONGSIDE BRIDGE THERE IS AN ARCHED WALKWAY YOU MUST BE IN THE MIDDLE LANE TO CLEAR!!!
Once u make 3d left u r actually on 2d ave---but after awhile 2&3 merge and u r on 3d by time u get to bridge into Bronx so it has always been referred to as going up 3d--hope it helps
Now I will say if u r one of those drivers who is uncomfortable in VERY HEAVY CITY TRAFFIC u may not wanna do this--LOL

Not to bust your bubble , but where have you been running for 13 years? Obviously not NYC, just remember just because you have trouble in the city does not mean it is not or cannot be done. But a 265wb under the Costco mall garage and truth be known you will be there a while when its packed inside the garage.

Yeah, unless you have a BOL with a local delivery address, you're asking for a high dollar ticket for bringing a 53' 102" trailer into Manhattan. Just sayin.

Use to take trade shows to Javits in downtown manhatten had to call ahead with NYPD. Most of the time they were pretty good about it but you had those few who hated us all staged around the javits trying to hand out tickets. Gotta laugh taking a 310 in big sleeper truck with a 51 ft kentucky down there was funny. Going into Javits I would just drop the trailer give the dude in the day cab $20 bucks and have him put it in the hole and thats downstairs , up top was no pleasure but not as bad. Nyc is just like any other big city I just dont like tolls that cut into profit
