I need to know-I got my orientation info email from my recruiter and im set to leave tomorrow night for springmo. I was told that the Grayhound confirmation number on the page was all I needed to get on the bus. The more I think about it, this seems WAAAYYY too easy. Should I have an actual ticket in hand or am I just freakin out over nothing? I hadnt given it much thought since shes the recruiter and does this all the time, but I noticed that the ticket counter is closed on sunday at my station, and I really dont want to miss orientation because she assumed I have went on a bus before. Any help is greatly appreciated. BTW if anyone reading this is starting orientation this week-see ya there(hopefully).

You just give the driver your confirmation and when you get to a station that is open, driver will tell you which one,you will get your ticket there.

Yup, just take the number to the ticket counter, or the driver

Yes good luck riding the Gray Dog! I hope it's not too long of a journey. Greyhound was just in the news regarding a bus found to be infested with some kind of insect. Nice....lovely bus system we have in this country... :biggrin_25523:

Oh another piece of advice, just because your reservation says express, don't expect a new bus with the fancy amenities, you may get stuck on a rickety pos

I believe even their "New" buses fall into that category.

I would rather ride the busses in my other home country than Greyhound in the US.

Sweet-thanks guys. I already planned on a rickety pos with at least one screamin baby and some little #### kickin the back of my seat. I only live 4 hrs away from springmo, but my dog ride is supposed to be 13 hrs 45 minutes(not counting accidents and breakdowns that I am expecting)-apparently were gonna go all around the state before getting there. I already hate grayhound and ive never stepped on one-but im not gonna leave my vehicle at prime, so ill just have to suck it up since the ball and chain wont drive me out there.
