I guess what's even worse is if they just list "Springfield".
I believe there's a Springfield in nearly every state, and several are medium to major cities.

I totally agree! You could not be more spot on! I with we could make it a requirement for those with "Wanna Be" "Beginner" "Student" or any of those newer statuses! That they should be required to put in there location! An additional Credit
care is optional!

 

Negative on the 2 tours. Came as close as you can come, I guess. Back then the draft was a lottery, based on your birthdate (0-365 numbers).
My number was very very low. Was called in after receiving papers, classification changed from standby to "say bye to momma" mode.
All voided/cancelled soon after, during troop withdrawal & Saigon fell. Close friend was a medic there.
A lot of 'ties' to it tho, overall. Nam vets are owed a lot, in my book. Thx for the thx to them.

My location is an inside joke for us in far west Texas.

 

If they are to dumb to list their location when they are asking a location specific question then they don't deserve and answer. Same with the people who post "need help" as the subject.
