I can't disagree with that statement.
-
ummm, i'm sorry but i read the article and it said funding was stripped.
it's the two of you who think you know everything.
SO YEAH. GET THAT DENIAL PROBLEM FIXED. -
The only link that I have seen that thinks that it is dead and stripped is from OOIDA. I discount anything from them.
At this time, I stand by what I posted. It may have not been funded, but there is nothing left to fund. -

I understand your stance. Let's step back and take a look at all the broken pieces as they lay on the ground (and there are a lot of them). You're running paper logs and quite happy with them. Did you know that every single time you weigh your load on a CAT scale (which actually has some sort of accountability) your truck and trailer number and scale loaction go out to the DOT? Ever seen the camera up there showing both your tractor and trailer as you sit on the scale? I've weighed many times carrying H-mat loads and initially weighed OW on rear axle for example by 900 lbs. So, using my handy calculator, I slid 3 pins; locked it in and went down the road...no need to re-weigh and drive around and go back inside and all the other good BS. Every single state that I pulled through that had scales open flagged me in to weigh in motion and then STILL gave me a red light and pointed me toward the scale to weigh. My weight adjustment never came across on the records so they figure I'm running OW on rear axles.
Sum of story; big brother is watching. Be glad we have some laws here in this country. Turn on the news and look at the weather torn and rugged faces of people in Afghanistan for example. We're eating sweet corn and cooking beer brats. Not many people living in caves here that I know of.
That paper log thing is crap in my opinion once I've been introduced to e-log. It is soo easy and simple you will not believe that you were once doing this cave man type of paper calculation daily. If the Feds want to watch; let um! Got nothing to hide here. They can sit in the passenger seat if they want to, I have no problems with that.
Doesn't matter if you're running paper or e-log; you're getting spyed on simply doing your every day job whether you like it or not. Got qualcomm and GPS tracking? What's that all about? Accountability.
End of day; I hope everyone has a nice day and I would love to one day shake your hand with a smile!
Drive safe!daf105paccar Thanks this.
