Better yet go down to the DMV and get a copy of your record. That way you know whats on it and what you need to be honest about. Just wondering did the x-wife see the cash drying up and leave? Did you do remodels or new construction? I use to sell lots of new homes and develop lots for builders that I worked for made $$ now I'm Truckin and makin little cash but I have health benifits and home about every 4-6 weeks for about four days. oh well it could be worse.

Thanks all for the advice. Today I went down to the Secretary of State and paid $8.00 for my MVR and come to find out...honestly I put it way at the back of my mind but I have Careless Driving on my record and that happen last June I paid the fine and everything. Will that harm my chances of getting into a company? I emailed my recruiter back and let her know that I honestly forgot it.

I just got my CDL!!! with not so perfect driving record in a misdemeanor back in 2007 in was wondering what company's would give me a chance

The charge has to be at least 5 years olf and go pull your MVR to compare certain companies requirements on their websites.

anyone know of an easy quick way to check a Florida MVR? i do NOT currently have a Florida License and every method i can find to check it wants the license number. Indiana BMV took it when i swapped it for an Indiana one.
or at the very least if my MVR check in Indiana would register the things in Florida? the one i did for Indiana doesn't show either the accident or ticket i've had since i moved back here. (checked it this year, incidents were two and 4 years ago) -
IN BMV can get you a copy of your FL MVR . Tell them you need your Florida records and give them your SS#

My friend wants to drive professionally. In over 12 years she's had not so much as a parking ticket. MVR comes back clean as a whistle. Previous background checks from non driving companies found nothing. However, 12 plus years ago she was a bad girl and had multiple dui's, reckless driving, and several misdemeanors. Now she's a non drinker and doesn't use drugs. There's all these pesky questions on the app's with the word EVER in them. If she answers these questions with complete accuracy, companies won't even look at her. If she answers with no's what are her chances?
