For those with legal/driving record questions

You should be ok with this. I would suggest doing a criminal background check on your self to see if any thing shows up. Start with Google and Yahoo search and go from there. You can find web sites that do background checks for small business that will do a more through one for $20-$50. Now as far as trucking co. the only reason they care is entry into Canada. They won't let you in with any kind of felony record. So I don't think you will have a problem ether way

 

well truning on a rd with width limits i can understand (pretty sure its happen to us all) but being over on ur drives is just u not doing ur job! no excuse for it! scale it first! not judging just sayin! yes it goes on ur dact! gud luck b safe

 

So out of curiosity when I turn 21 in May 2013 will companies still hire me or is it a waste of me time?

I have 4 points on my license right now (2 moving violations for 2 points each).

1. Speeding citation in May or june 2011.
2. Following to close in april 2012.

I have never been an any accidents and have no criminal record.

 

i have a conviction that is 8 years old. it is hit and miss. some companies don't have a problem with it, some do

 

i WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT WHERE I WAS IN THE RIGHT LANE MAKING A RIGHT TURN, WITH MY BLINKER ON (THE LANE WAS A STRAIGHT OR TURN LANE COMBO) PULLED ALL THEY WAY TO THE RIGHT IN THE LANE AND BEGAN TO MAKE MY TURN ONLY TO FIND OUT A CAR DID NOT SEE MY BLINKER AND PULLED IN NEXT TO ME THINKING i WAS GOING STRAIGHT AND I HIT HER. THIS IS MY FIRST ACCIDENT IN A WORK TRUCK MY QUESTION IS iS SHE AT FAULT OR AM I FOR THE ACCIDENT. I CAN'T AFFORD TO HAVE THIS GO ON MY RECORD.

 

You're at fault and you'll likely get sued. Didn't they teach you in driving school to block off traffic with your trailer so there is no gap on the right side when making a right? Pretty basic stuff. Plus you're job is to keep watch in all of your mirrors. That's a major preventable. Remember that you're supposed to be the "Professional"

 

Window tint hell no dont worry about it.....All the Cos are interested in is moving violations

 

This can happen to anybody it happened to me years back.....Sometimes you cant block it off if its a tight corner with a telephone pole ect & your long with a long WB tractor & a 53 footer....Dont mislead the guy because silver & white cars are hard to see in the r/h mirror & sometimes they sneak in on you....They wanted to go to 57 footers can U imagine that?

 

Just a question for other CDL holders. Here in Colorado we have to update our DOT physical every two years with the DMV. if the DOT physical expires you have 10 days to get it renewed, after 30 days you lose your CDL you don't just get a downgrade you can't even drive a car. I was wondering if it is like this in other states.

 

Anybody out there that can give me an answer on suboxone ???? Is it legal or is it not legal ????
