We have a pretty sweet gig for the most part, don't we, KillingTime? No more OTR, truck stop food or showers, or CPM. We run 1,500-1,800 miles a week and make more money than most OTR drivers too. Plus we are home every night (day in your case).
Oh well, we all have to start somewhere.

From one rookie(yourself) to another rookie that's your advice???? I
Trip planning has always worked for me which never included sleeping on ramps.I wouldn't use my 30 min brk to take showers either that's was your 10 hrs is for.

My trip planning involves using google maps to ideally find a ramp where I have less than 10 minutes left on my 11. Many nights I'll pull on the ramp with less than two minutes left.

If you have to run that hard to make a buck in this industry something is clearly wrong.

See that's the thing. I'm not trying to make a buck. I'm trying to bring home 2200 of them every week I work

You think I'm proud of being a truck driver? I don't even keep a Facebook I'm so ashamed of what I've become. You want to know what I look like? Search underachiever in the dictionary; you'll find me there. No I'm doing what I've got to do to get ahead; and that means working as hard as ppossible everyday.

That's what you see fit to say to someone who never quoted one of your posts to begin with?

I would advise you to not make this a habit.
